🛠️ Fixes

Clearer “Log in to save” prompt for unsigned-in planners — If you’re planning a trip without an account, the site now shows the correct “Log in to save” call-to-action (instead of confusing edit/share controls). This makes it obvious how to keep your trip permanently.

April 3, 2026

Improvements

More flexible itinerary editing (even while planning casually) — We improved the itinerary UI so it’s easier to add and adjust items during planning, with fewer “why can’t I change this?” moments.

Cleaner homepage + Explore layout (especially on mobile) — We polished spacing, alignment, and layout in key areas so pages feel more consistent and easier to scan.

New

Safer confirmations before deleting things — Deletes now use a custom confirmation dialog (instead of the browser default), with clearer messaging so you don’t accidentally remove a trip or itinerary item.

April 1, 2026

New

Trip generation now happens on a single page — Creating a trip is simpler: you start planning and the trip builds right on the trip page (instead of sending you through an extra “View Trip” step). This reduces confusion and makes it feel much faster to get into editing.

Improvements

Better sharing visibility for group planning — Trip sharing indicators now reflect the people you’re actually planning with, making it easier to see when a trip is collaborative.

Launch polish across key flows — We refined the experience around planning, saving, and returning to trips so the product feels more coherent and predictable.

🛠️ Fixes

More reliable “return to your trip later” behavior — If you plan a trip without signing in, it’s now much less likely you’ll lose track of it when you come back later (including after closing your browser).

Fewer “broken state” moments after generation completes — The map, trip stats, title, and cover image now update more reliably when generation finishes, so you don’t get stuck seeing placeholders.

March 31, 2026

New

Plan trips without creating an account (and still find them later) — You can now start planning right away, and the site will help you keep access to your trips across revisits. When you’re ready, you can log in to save everything permanently.

Improvements

Smoother path from “anonymous planning” to “saved trip” — Logging in after starting a trip is now more seamless, so you don’t hit permission errors or dead ends.

Clearer prompts for actions that require an account — If you try to do something that needs an account, the UI now guides you more clearly toward logging in—without hiding what’s possible.

🛠️ Fixes

Sharing UI stays usable while scrolling — Fixed cases where share-related menus could drift out of place as you scroll, improving usability on long trip pages.

March 30, 2026

New

Single-page trip generation rollout (stability updates) — Continued improvements to the new “generate + edit in one place” experience so it stays stable even as content loads in real time.

🛠️ Fixes

More accurate trip details after generation — Trip titles, trip stats, maps, and visuals now refresh more reliably when generation completes, so what you see matches what was generated.

More consistent itinerary updates when changing items — Fixed cases where changing an itinerary item didn’t fully update the on-page label/title immediately.

March 26–27, 2026

🛡️ Security, reliability, and performance improvements

We shipped a batch of behind-the-scenes upgrades to make TripGoGo faster and more dependable:

  • Stronger protection around private trip data (so only the right people can access sensitive trip content).
  • More consistent behavior across key pages (fewer edge-case errors when saving, loading, or navigating).
  • Performance improvements that reduce page load time and unnecessary database work (so the app feels snappier, especially on repeat visits).
  • Better automated test coverage to catch regressions earlier (meaning fewer “surprise” bugs reach users).

March 11, 2026

Improvements

More consistent “things to do” planning flow — We streamlined how activity options show up during planning so they feel like a natural part of building your itinerary (instead of a separate, disconnected experience).

February 26, 2026

Improvements

Smarter city search when building trips — City search is now powered by our own place lookup (instead of relying on a paid autocomplete), so it’s more consistent and scalable across destinations.

More consistent UI across planning modals — We standardized modal/button behavior to reduce “this screen feels different than the last one” friction.

February 24, 2026

🛠️ Fixes

Clearer form errors when something isn’t filled out right — If trip creation fails due to an input issue, the page now highlights the specific fields that need attention and shows a clearer summary message—so you can fix it quickly without guessing.
